Vat & Barrel

Great place! I’ve never been here before but was pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious way beyond just bar food! Was very happy with our random choice of checking this place out. The chips were light and airy, the food was awesome, the dips were amazing.

We were looking for a little food in Seymour around 8pm and found this place. The pulled pork nachos were amazingly delicious. My husband enjoyed his old fashioned and I had a caramel apple slushy that was so good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I want to stop by again on our travels through Indiana.

Wow!! That is what I have to say about this place. The staff is awesome and the food is amazing. We had the brisket cheese steak and the pesto marina flat bread. Both were awesome. We also had the pretzel with cheese sauce. All of it was awesome. Their old fashioned’s were delicious and well worth it. I had the one with their bourbon, batch 3, and it was delicious with a slight after bite, and my wife had the one with their regular burning. Both great. Will come back for sure!!!

I am taken aback by the luxury, comfort, service, and overall presentation of V&B! I just happened to be in town, and a friend just happened to recommend it to me, and by golly, they certainly hit the nail on the head with this recommendation. And I can thank Courtnie for her excellent drink suggestions and the jalapeños, which made my snack even better. The Pork nachos are fantastic, and they perfectly complemented the dazzling assortment of booze, wine, and spirits on sale here. I had the Whiskey Sour, but in truth I had more than one! Seymour has a gem on its hands. S rank. Top Tier.

This is one of the places that everyone needs to visit. Also, you may not even think you will find a place like this in Seymour, Indiana. Nice wine, beer, and cheese selección good atmosphere. Good for an anniversary celebration, date, or just hanging with friends. Expresso cofe, cheese cake, and Creme brulee for desert give a sense like you are in a big city restaurant.

Should you find yourself in Seymour, IN, you will want to pop into Vat & Barrel. The staff are friendly and it's a fun atmosphere. Everything on the menu is locally sourced. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine and cheese plate (which was YUGE BTW!). My 8 year old was with us and all the staff were extra kind to her. Really special place ❤️

Been here many times. Was with a group of 15 people today. Our waitress did great sorting everything out, except missing the nuts on the berry salads that several of us had (probably not her fault). My wife and I being vegan, we got the pretzel, hummus platter, and berry salads. Would like more non-meat options, but it probably would not be economically feasible in our small town.

A very nice upscale setting. The service was great and so was the food. They have a huge selection of wines, spirits, and beer. Most of their alcohol is from Indiana. Our waitress was wonderful and we met the owner who was a very nice guy. If you’re ever in Seymour Indiana and you like great food, great drinks, and great service then check out Vat and Barrel!!
