Walter's Bar

This is the place where you go where everyone loves you. You'll meet some great locals with stories to tell. One of the bartenders named Ashley (also known as Smashley) will steal your heart as she steals your Keno money. There's also a local midget that will work his way up to the bar and end up playing video games on your phone. He has a biblical name. Awesome guy to talk to. He's a ladies man. Anyway, if you're stuck around DTW and bored, come on by. They'll be happy to have you.

Awesome atmosphere, great food with even better prices, drinks are always cold, and service is always great 🙂

I live in the area and have never stopped in here so decided to stop for a beer. Now I understand they where pretty busy during a fund raiser, but we sat at a table and waited 20mins while we were completely ignored by the waitstaff. Finally the cook Sky walked by and asked if we have been helped and got us a beer. But after that we continued to be ignored by the waitstaff. Again I understand they are busy but you should at least acknowledge your patrons and let them know it's going to be a bit before they can get to you. Thankfully we moved to the bar and the bartender briefly acknowledged that they were falling behind because they were so busy BUT without knowing there was an event, it would be nice to be treated as the paying customer I am regardless.

I live in the town but haven’t been in Walters since the 1970’s. I heard food was good from a lady down the street at a chiropractors office. Today decided I’d stop there for lunch. I walked in and this place was way too dark for even a bar. A few tables were unoccupied. Guys at the bar sucking brews taking up most of the seats. I walked back out going over to Nemo’s. Would I return? No! This place needs complete makeover! I live nearby and it’s not a nice place!

12 lanes for bowling. Shoe rental and lane balls available. Fun, casual place for a few games of bowling and drinks. We didn't have food, but looked like typical bar food. The fries looked tasty. Bar seems like a local hangout.

Great spot, burger was perfect so we're the fries and the onion ring I snagged from my nieces plate lol. Super friendly staff. I'll definitely be back ❤️

Let me start by saying that Walters is a small business that has been an installation in Romulus for years. Love the atmosphere and the bartender Amy was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about anything I needed. The beer is cold and the drinks are cheap. The only downside..and I mean only...is there isn't a billiard table. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a small local and family-owned and operated place to have a couple of drinks. Look no further

I was in the area for a class and this place was right down the street. The service was fast and friendly and the food was pretty good. I just had the special everyday. If they have the Stuffed Pepper Soup when you stop in you should definitely have a bowl.
