Stopped in for lunch while in the area. I would say the food is pretty much traditional bar food. Service was prompt and attentive. It was nice to sit outside and view the water, but be prepared for the amount of smokers that hang out there.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this establishment and will not be returning. I was at a meeting with my child where the food was already covered, but I decided to order an additional meal separately for him. When I approached the waitress to place my order, she was shockingly rude and dismissive from the start. The situation took a turn for the worse at the end of the meeting. I handed the bill to the event coordinator, who went to the register and was checked out by another employee. However, the waitress later came to my table, accusing me of lying about the bill being paid simply because it wasn’t handed directly to her. Despite my repeated attempts to explain, she refused to listen or verify the facts. If she had simply checked where the paid bills were placed or gave me a chance to find the individual who paid, she would have seen it had already been paid for. Her tone was unnecessarily harsh and condescending, making the situation both embarrassing and completely uncalled for. I understand that a restaurant environment can be hectic and busy, but the staff should be trained to handle that professionally and respectfully. The food was decent, but the service was appalling. I expected a far more professional experience, and I cannot recommend this place based on the poor service alone. I highly recommend anyone who goes to this restaurant in a large group to be cautious of the staff and this type of situation occurring. I’m not sure if this woman was judging me as a “poor” parent trying to get a free meal or could have been having a bad day, but her lack of professional was not okay.

It was a Sunday around 4:30 pm. Very busy with live band. We were in the back room. AC was nice. Our server worked both sides but she did her best and was there for us. I had the fried clams for 14.95. They were overcooked and breading only. I found a few with a piece of clam in it. I chose potato salad with it. Tasted like your grocery deli brand but I liked it. Also was a small container of coleslaw which was good. We had onion rings for an appetizer which were over cooked but tasty. Side of this horseradish-like dip made all the difference. It was my second time here (first time I had a quesadilla) and I just can’t bring myself to do more than 3 stars for their food.

The food was decent, and the portion was right. I had steak and eggs and opted for the buttermilk pancakes. The medium steak was slightly medium rare, and the fried potatoes went well with it. I didn't care for the fruit as it looked like it had been sitting in juice for a while. Had it been freshly cut, it would have had a bigger impact. Coffee was good. The view and option to eat outside was a good change for me. The total bill came to $20.00. The waitress was great, made my visit.

I'll be honest, usually go to Whiskey Joe's or Hooters across the river but decided to go somewhere I haven't been. First impression walking up, typical Florida dive, not necessarily a bad thing. Interior appearance shows a good attempt, but if they brought in a designer, the setup they have could be amazing. On the edge of amazing, honestly. They had live music, and when I say live, I mean they had a man in front of a keyboard singing to canned music. Basic Yacht rock. He couldn't carry a tune if you put it in a bucket, just godawful, yet it was awesome. We sat in the outdoor covered bar area looking at the river, fantastic cross breezes, and watching boaters. Very relaxing. The wait staff was courteous. I had the banana bucket rum punch drink. It's really good. For food, we ordered appetizers first, the fried pickles and Gator tail nuggets. The pickles were thinning sliced, lightly breaded, and fried to a perfect crispness. The Gator tail came in a basket with fries and coleslaw. I had to call the waitress over to ask who made it, if it was done here, or if they ordered it in. I'll tell you that Gator is one of my favorite indulgences. I've had it all over Florida and in New Orleans. This was the absolute BEST I have ever had. The tenderness was nearly indescribable. Even the best prepared Gator has a little chew to it. This was melt in your mouth perfection. The seasoning was on point, not too heavily breaded and fried perfectly. I could have eaten my weight in it. Next up, the boom boom shrimp. Served on a bed of mixed greens, these little nuggets mirror their cousins bang bang shrimp from bone fish only better. Not overly spicy but a delicious sweet tangy flavor. Wrapped it up with the blackened grouper sandwich and coleslaw. It was the second serving of coleslaw, which was ok. Not great, not bad. The grouper, however, was simply amazing. Light, flaky, and not overly seasoned. Best Grouper I've had in a while. Next time, I'll just order the dinner plate instead of the sandwich because grouper that good doesn't need the bread. The downside is that the kitchen and service are a little slow, but once the food started coming, it was definitely worth the wait. They're definitely going to need more staff once people figure out that not only is the food fantastic, the prices are good too! I'll be back. A lot.

We have been looking for a local hangout with good food, a laid back atmosphere and music. Friendly service, reasonable prices, plenty of seating options. Bang Bang Shrimp was very good. That said, when they are busy just enjoy the music and lower your expectations for food, drinks and service. Especially busy during snow bird season!

Drive in wasn’t so pleasant (to look at), however upon arrival, it was clear that this was a decent water front diner. Place was clean and staff was friendly. The Ahi Tuna Artesan salad consisted mostly of romaine as opposed to mixed greens but dressings were good. The Cuban and fries were great. There’s plenty of parking!
