Woodshed Bar

I love this place! It was my first time visiting Charlotte, NC with friends. Everyone at the bar made us feel welcomed and at home. The owners are so personable and friendly and treated us so well. The drinks are the bomb! & inexpensive. The music is great and I loved their karaoke night. We ended up going three nights in a row because we loved the place so much. Please check them out if you’re in Charlotte. Friday, Sat and Sunday are the best days to go.

So I'm going to start with the negative first. And my biggest concern is that they need to hire security to watch our cars, especially those parked on the street because parking is minimum. My car has been vandalized on three separate occasions. But this past Saturday a few of our car windows got busted out & that was my final straw here at this establishment I will be taking a break from it. Other than that, I love the staff. They are very friendly and they all make great drinks & they are cheap, Which is a plus lol And they pass the vibe check.

Despite the negative comments, most of them were either kicked out for acting a fool and/or just overly pretentious and angry people. The woodshed has a myriad of diverse individuals that it welcomes. They are promoting a safe, mature place for people in the LGBTQIA+ community to socialize. Our group loves the vibe and staff here. We have had no issues. All you have to do is be polite and mature.

First time visiting! Really had a great time. I definitely am coming back when I visit Charlotte again!

Cool experience. However the sound system needs some major improvements thru out the entire facility.

Their staff is really nice especially their bartender Raymond. He’s one of the nicest people you can ever meet.

They don't serve food, but they serve a good time. Great drinks and fun people. Karaoke on Sunday and Tuesday.

Friendly local watering hole. Great staff, clean place. Nice clientele.
