X BAR

I came here on a snowy Wednesday night, while visiting CO from out of town. The bar was a very pleasant space with an indoor and outdoor bar, plenty of seating, and stage with dj. It was wigs and wings night, so wings were $1. I recommend the Nashville Hot & Mississippi Honey. I also got the loaded fries and they were really good. They seem to have different happy hour deals per day. This is a very queer and drag friendly space. They also have a mystery gift vending machine in the outside area.

Always one of the more excellent clubs especially for the glow pup event that takes place in their glow lounge. They got the vibe, the DJs, and the people. Woof i heard one of the DJs even took up a prodigy after the last glow pup. Will we get to see them too? Who knows

This place is a great change of pace. The bartenders are probably the fastest in town! It's great that so many walks of life can just coexist together and have fun. A rarity compared to some other bars in the neighborhood. The music is always good, too!

I rent a garage in the same alley as the bar and almost every night this place is lit !! I talk to all kinds of different folks that are coming and going and they’ve all seemed to be having a great time. The drag queens are always looking fierce and everyone is dressed 2 impress!! The sound system is bangin until the early mornings so they must be having fun!!

I've been to Xbar dozens of times, but had the absolute worst experience on Halloween. The bar was super packed and clearly understaffed, which I understand. I ordered a drink, and the bartender took my card and didn't give it back. After a few minutes he asked me what I was still doing there, and when I said I didn't get my card back he said he had given it back, so I left. I checked my bank account the next day, and they had charged someone else's drinks totaling about $80 to my card, and must have given it to that person, so I needed to order a replacement. I recognize this was an honest mistake, but my major issue was the attitude of the bus boy that night (bigger guy with a beard). He ran into the wings I was wearing, and then yelled at me that I needed to take them off and berated me in front of all the other customers. I understand that staff was probably stressed that night, but it's completely unacceptable to give this kind of attitude to a customer who hasn't done anything to you. My wings wouldn't have been an issue if the event wasn't extremely oversold in the first place. I'm honestly disgusted with this behavior, and will be choosing other establishments in the future.

XBar has had the most friendly staff for as long as I have been in Denver - 12 years. Happy hour has a great recurring crowd of regulars of all agents that is fun & welcoming. Weekend nights are busy & fun. Many friends made here!

Amazing experience if you want to dance the night away or sit on a patio and chill. Incredible staff from the door to the floor always keeping drinks in hands and the tables clean. The best gay bar in Denver for all bar goer tastes.

This bar is a lot of fun. The music is really good. The multi levels is fun, and the bartenders have been good. I like how there are multiple high levels to dance solo and just have fun. I like this bar a lot, but I’m taking down two stars because one night my friend left his bag here and we didn’t realize until like maybe 20 mins after they had closed. We went back and literally KNOCKED and SLAMMED and YELLED for no less than 7 minutes saying “we lost our bag! We need our stuff!” In the rain. People saw us and heard us but did not come up to ask. We yelled what we needed to not sound like crazy people that we were just trying to get our stuff to be able to go home. Then the manager or whoever came out and was like “stop! We don’t have it!” And when we showed her the apple AirTag showing that it was indeed there, THEN they gave us our bag. It was horrible. The fact that the management was trying to get away with thievery and if we didn’t have an airtag we would have been stranded on colfax for the night. Negligent in that sense. Just make sure you have everything before you go.
