Went here last night and had a blast. Trust the reviews, this place is totally different now. Great music, great cocktails, cool beer selection, and great bartenders.

Great place to grab a fantastic cocktail. They always have something new going on. The bartenders will even make custom drinks for you and they're really good at it. Can't recommend enough!

If you are looking for a one of a kind mix drink, top shelf whiskey, or just a Pabst this is the place to go! The Tap has that old neighborhood tavern feel where the owners, bartenders and regulars make you feel like family!

Haven’t been to this gem in sooooo long! New owners did an amazing job remodeling the place, the staff was great, and the vibes is what made it a great experience! We had Derek, and he was so fun! I had to try their version of Butter Beer, which was delish. And my husband got in on the Absinthe action. Definitely will be back!

Super cute, remodeled pub, with new ownership/management. I used to walk/drive by this place with the feeling of never wanting to go in there. After over 2 years of living in the area, one Sunday night, during a walk, it looked welcoming so my boyfriend and I finally went in. I'm so glad we did! We met the new owner who is just wonderful. The place is beautiful, sleek, and clean! They have a large black board with tons of fun specials everyday. They focus on the pre and post Prohibition and have original photos, wallpaper, etc. From the bar during Prohibition times! If you were ever hesitant to check this place out before, give it a try now as it is night and day from what it was before and we love it!! They are still waiting on their gaming license to come in but stop in for a fun drink special. Happy hour is M-F 3-5pm.

Oh, you don't know about McHenry's best bespoke bar? Allow me to gush: The bartenders! - and the owner - are all super friendly. They let you have conversations with your friends, but if you engage them they will offer you friendly banter. They know things - tons of cocktail recipes! More on that later. The whiskey garden! Jess has created this beautiful little space, tucked next to the building, to be outside and enjoy one of their amazing cocktails. There's multiple seating types, and -my favorite!- Edison lights at night to make it festive. The Menu! YOCT has the most interesting cocktail menu in the area. They can literally make anything you want, or try one of their special concoctions! My favorites are the Churchill Downs and The West Side. They have fun tasting flights, too. The Events! There is always something fun going on each week, from trivia, to vinyl nights, to plant arranging and more! Jess, the owner, works really hard to build connections with other local businesses. The events are unique and fit with the vibe of the place. The food? 'But why only 3 stars for food?,' you may be wondering. Because this is a cocktail bar, not a restaurant. They do have frozen pizzas, and chips, and I have ordered carry-out from Plum Garden, which is right next door. (If you ask real nice when you order, they may even text you when it's ready, or offer to deliver it!)

Always great handcrafted cocktails with amazing service! Such a nice low key atmosphere where you can truly sit, enjoy your drink and have a great conversation.

Stopped in yesterday for a quick afternoon drink with the family for my dad‘s birthday and had a great time. Everybody was drinking beer, however, I decided to try their absinthe cocktail which was the first time I’ve seen this at a bar and it was done very well. Overall, the place is quaint, has a great cocktail list, and it was also nice to see a Mocktail menu if requested. During nice days, they have plenty of outdoor seating, which would make this a great place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night with friends. Will definitely be back.
