This is the best bar in Hillsborough. I always see my community here. I love the owner, who is actually a local treasure- renowned author, Eryk Pruitt. I appreciate the diversity of art, poetry, live music and literature that is showcased here. If you want to have a drink and get steeped in a bit of (southern) culture then head over to Yonder. The drinks are fantastic, the vibe is very chill. There are a variety of events that appeal to a lot of different types of people, so find your groove and join in. I am very thankful for this local bar. Every time I go here I meet some amazing people, I see fantastic music and I enjoy a few lovely drinks. Excellent establishment. Go check them out.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Yonder this past May, and were absolutely blown away with how perfect everything was. Eryk and Lana are some of the most easy-going people I know and I can't imagine having our reception anywhere else. The drinks were amazing, the decor was beautiful, and Eryk and Lana were absolute champs accommodating all 50 guests at an open bar! We love being able to come back for an old fashioned and live music to reminisce on that perfect day. Thank you Yonder!! <3

Saw an impressive band there ("Wilted Plums"). Nice venue with a great atmosphere. Drinks were well-made. Female bartender was great; male bartender a bit sketchy. Had a fun time. I'll be back there again.

Amazing athmosphere with live music (great bands playing!) and super friendly staff. The drinks are great. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back!

Last night marked my final visit to this establishment. Unfortunately, I've consistently encountered rude behavior from the male bartender, which detracts from our otherwise positive experiences. Despite our love for Hillsborough and our commitment to supporting local businesses, this is the second instance of such treatment... I don’t know what’s his problem.

Really well made cocktails which is typically a hard thing to find. We weren’t there long enough to hear the live music but the atmosphere is nice and dark and what you want from a bar.

Great small town Cocktail bar! Friendly staff always ready to serve with suggestions on beer, wine, and drinks when asked. Some snacks are available. Live music on some nights. They also host an open mic once a week with lost of talented locals performing their poetry and music.

Really comfortable spot. Bartenders were attentive but not necessarily friendly (they weren't busy, so it wasn't that). The band wasn't playing very loudly but it was almost too loud to talk/hear (live music in a small space can be that way). Great outdoor/sidewalk seating but there weren't any available seats or we would have sat out there. Wife had a very nice gin cocktail and I had a short pour stout. We'll go back for sure... probably when there isn't music or when we can sit outside.
