Renee is absolutely amazing! Her personality is amazing, I felt like I knew her all of my life. She made sure I was very comfortable and that my first Brazilian went as smooth as it probably could! She was very informative about what kind of wax she uses, showing examples of the hair and how it was pulled. What to do at home so that my next one is smooth! She has gained a new life time customer!!

Absolutely Amazing!!! I saw Carolyn for a relaxing massage with CBD Oil. It was the best massage and she was so nice and professional. I actually had plans to go out that night after my massage but was so relaxed after my massage I opted to stay in and relax and got the best sleep I have had in a long time because my body was so relaxed. After having such a great experience with my massage I saw a Groupon for a Brazilian wax and decided to try it even though I was hesitant because I have had a bad experience with a Brazilian Wax with a different establishment. The only place I could find that was somewhat comfortable was About Face Salon and they are so expensive I could never keep up with getting waxed and could only do it for special occasions such as going on vacation. Again I was skeptical but decided to give it a try and I am SO HAPPY I did!!! The BEST $70 I have spent on waxing ever( $70 pays for 2 Brazilian waxes). Renee was so gentle, knowledgeable and personable. Getting a Brazilian wax is often uncomfortable not only because your most private area is in someone's face but its ripping hair out so no matter how gentle you try to be there will be some pain. Out of every wax I have ever had This one was the most painless!!! Just amazing!!!I will definitely be a repeat customer

I previously reviewed Zen Happens after getting the best massage of my life from Mary! That still stands true. I get a massage monthly from her and love every single one! This review is for some other services Ive received since! Reiki!! I did a 30 minute add on of reiki that Mary incorporated into my 60 minute massage (making the total session 90 minutes). I don't think I had ever felt more at peace and relaxed in my entire life. The calm and peaceful feeling lasted for at least a week. It was pure bliss. I have another appointment scheduled and will definitely be adding Reiki into my personal care routine! I also had a bikini wax and a facial from Caitlin. The products she used were amazing (and organic, win!). I have super sensitive skin and neither services irritated my skin. My face was so smooth and glowy! I will definitely be returning for more facials and waxing services! Oh! and acupuncture! Jeremy seriously helped me with chronic shoulder pain and digestive issues. He also can cure my moodiness 🙂 You guys, you seriously can't go wrong at Zen Happens. Amazing people, services, products, and prices!

Mary, the owner has amazingly gifted hands. I wish my massage and foot scrub could've lasted forever! LOL, but for real! I went back a few days later for a facial and another foot scrub, which were done by Caitlyn. She was awesome as well and I really appreciated her teachable moments/advice she shared about my skin care. Here's the kicker---On the first day I went, Mary mentioned that she noticed I'd be coming back for the facial, etc, which I told her would be on my birthday. She remembered, and had a birthday cupcake waiting for me when I arrived. Soooo sweet and thoughtful. Thank you so much for great service and atmosphere, and the cupcake!!! 🙂

I have never walked in a place and felt so welcomed. It didn’t feel like a business it felt like a cozy place to relax. They provide hospitality and great service! I would like to give a shout out to Catie the Brazilian wax didn’t even hurt, she’s a pro!

Mary is a wonderful listener and skilled massage therapist. She takes the time to find out what area is causing pain and addresses it with a combination of techniques. I have been to her 5 times since the shop opened and have left feeling so much more relaxed, pain free with better mobility.

My massage was wonderful. I have back issues and some areas were sensitive. Caroline friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Zen Happens is wonderful. Located on a hip strip up in Lauraville, it is a short drive from Downtown. Mary is great at what she does and is flexible with my schedule. Prices are quite reasonable. I try to go weekly if I can!
