10/10 bathroom experience. Zephyr is LGBTQ+ safe and comfortable. The women's bathroom is single use and doesn't have any signs in it telling people how to ask for help from the bar from creepy people. Anyone worried about being questioned for their choice of bathroom can put those fears away. The water was perfectly warm and rejuvenating. Would give 4.5 out of 5 because the men's bathroom is incredibly cramped and uncomfortable for the urinal and stall for 2 people, but after having a premium experience in the women's bathroom, Zephyr deserves 5 stars.

Always meet cool people here. Prices are great! The layout of the place is fantastic and a lot of decent enough music comes through. I'm suprised they still do the alt/punk hipster thing. I thought that scene was dead. Staff is rude as all hell. Would be a great bar if they replaced all of the employees and got some actually decent bands to play.

***IF YOU HAVE OUT OF STATE LICENSE DO NOT COME HERE*** Prefacing this by saying my boyfriend and I just moved here from out of state and I went to this bar multiple times prior when there was no bouncer and it was FINE. At that point had no complaints about this bar and would’ve happily gone back. I have attempted coming back twice now, and will never step foot near this property again. First time a few weeks ago, went with my boyfriend and a young girl was checking ID’s at the door. Handed her my ID, and she proceeds to bend it completely in half multiple times and refused service. When my boyfriend and I explained it is my government issued real ID and we had just moved, she then denied again and tried to pocket it twice and told me I wasn’t getting it back- until I took it out of her hand and we walked out. Going forward to last night, we decided to give it a try one more time, thinking it could’ve just been a rough night prior. This time was a young guy at the door, and gave him my ID, and he continued to bend it fully in half this time, multiple times, and when I asked him to kindly stop and explain I’m in the process of getting my Ohio license and had just moved, he then ridiculed me and told me I was lying and proceed to completely pick at the edge of my license until the plastic fully came off and bend it more- trying to prove me wrong. Again, I took my ID back, and didn’t even have the chance or option to talk to a manager. I am obviously very heated at this ignorance and complete disregard for respect, and would like to mention I tried calling this business twice to speak to someone but they conveniently have their phones disconnected which is making me now write this review. Not only do I feel completely disrespected but my property is now fully damaged forcing me no choice but to get a new ID as soon as possible because mine is now ruined from this bar’s carelessness. Giving this lack of communication and unprofessionalism I’m likely to file a police report due to the amount of damage done. THIS BAR IS NOT WORTH GOING TO, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I love the Zephyr. My favorite bar in Kent, LGBT friendly place. The drinks quality can be a bit inconsistent like any bar, but overall I usually have a good drink! I love going for the drag shows. I love the staff. Chris is a social butterfly

Terrible bartenders. Big dude with curly hair just glares at people. Gave me the creeps. Will not return until there's new staff. Been there twice and was always treated very rudely

This is a a great Pub! The patrons are chill and there to enjoy the time there. The night we went was 7/8/23 and there was live music on first floor, dance DJ on third floor and many people hanging out on patio. Returning to visit Kent as an KSU alum, this is a must! There are some patio games if so inclined. The DORA is also right around the corner. The selection of microbrews is excellent. The bartenders are attentive and friendly. They made a special drink for my friend celebrating a birthday. Also- I literally saw a bartender cutting up a six-pack-can plastic ring holder before putting it into the trash! ❤️ It is my understanding that The pub does not serve food outside of chips and the collab with Taco Tonto’s next door.

Main area, back yard with live music some nights, upstairs, patio. It’s a great place for an easy drink with friends. Definitely, and welcomed, NOT the club scene.

Fun multi level building with a bar on the first and third floors. A beautiful fenced off patio with multiple picnic tables, giant connect 4 and corn hole. Enjoyed two drinks here and lost two games of connect 4.
